Your Role as a Property Manager:

Our client has recently launched a new lettings and property management department that fosters a collaborative and rewarding team environment. They are now seeking a dedicated Property Manager to join their team. This role is crucial in providing a seamless, single-point-of-contact experience for landlords and tenants, managing tenancy progression, and ongoing property management. The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to grow within the business and develop into a leadership position.


Key Responsibilities as a Property Manager:

• Act as the main contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring excellent service and communication.

• Manage and resolve maintenance issues reported via Fixflo in line with SLAs.

• Oversee the renewal of safety certificates and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

• Review and approve maintenance invoices within 48 hours.

• Conduct mid-term inspections, report to landlords, and resolve any issues.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations.

• Handle tenant and landlord notices as needed.

• Coordinate end-of-tenancy check-outs and related processes.

• Review check-out reports, manage deposit deductions, and handle disputes.

• Assist with visitor inquiries in the office.

• Stay informed on lettings legislation and ensure compliance.

• Maintain accurate data entry and update missing information.


Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar property management role.

• Smart appearance and professional approach.

• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

• Strong team player with the ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.

• Highly organized and systematic, with the ability to prioritize workloads.

• Discreet and respectful of confidentiality issues.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to follow specified processes and routines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in IT systems and experience with Reapit software is essential.
