Job Summary:

Our client are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join their installation team around the UK, predominantly in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple security projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of Fire Supression and Life safety , project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using suitable tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed briefs and clarify project requirements.
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members' strengths, skills, and experience levels.
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to share with clients and staff members.
  • Continuously develop leadership skills.
  • Attend conferences and training to maintain proficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
  • Assist in managing and producing project schedules and budgets to meet requirements.
  • Appoint, manage, and monitor subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Mentor and supervise less experienced team members.
  • Drive product roadmap and initiatives.
  • Resolve systemic issues with short, medium, and long-term solutions.
  • Develop strategic plans for effective project management.
  • Provide support for scoping work tasks and budgets.
  • Maintain work to required standards and client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Job Type, Days, and Hours of Work: Full-time, permanent role. Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
