Technical Field Service Engineer – Healthcare Products
Location: Can be based in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire
We are working with a leading healthcare solutions provider to find a motivated Technical Field Service Engineer to cover the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire region. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, who enjoys working hands-on with technical products while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical repair and maintenance work on a range of healthcare products supplied by the company.
- Manage van stock efficiently to ensure you are prepared for all call-outs.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to schedule visits effectively and deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Assist with installations at care homes and support the sales team during client visits when required.
- Complete administrative tasks and reporting within required timeframes.
Key Goals & KPIs:
- Achieve outstanding customer feedback and ensure clients receive top-tier service.
General Expectations:
- Stay up-to-date with product developments through ongoing training and professional development.
- Adhere to the company’s health and safety policies and act as a brand ambassador, promoting company values of insight, determination, and integrity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Essential: A-level or equivalent qualification, strong communication skills (written and verbal), and a full UK driving licence.
- Desirable: Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with knowledge of technical or healthcare-related products.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong IT skills (proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word).
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and stay overnight if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow technical guidance.
