About the role:

Following the development of a new partnership we are seeking a Public Sector Stakeholder Researcher to join our busy Research and Insight Team. This is a pivotal role in a 12-month project and you will be the first point of call for any public sector research, both qualitative and quantitative.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with CMI colleagues and other key stakeholder organisations to meet quality requirements and key milestones of the 12-month project.
  • Develop a stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Conduct extensive desk research looking at existing management and leadership frameworks and curricula within the sector.
  • Work with key experts in the public sector and other key organisations to develop a programme of qualitative and quantitative research to gather insights to support the project and test proposed frameworks.
  • For the qualitative research elements, collect all data methodically and create a structured coding framework to ensure it is catalogued effectively.
  • Summarise key themes and insights in periodic reports, illustrating themes with relatable examples and insights.
  • Ensure that all research activity is robust and meets evaluation criteria.

  • Experience of data analysis using software and platforms such as Excel, Gsheets, SPSS and others.
