My client, an award-winning hotel and part of a small progressive hotel group, situated on one of the many splendid beaches of Newquay, are looking for a new Receptionist to support their team.

This role is an immediate start for the right candidate and is a full time position.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a Hotel Reception role and has a solid track record in working within reservation systems.

In your role you will be carrying out general Reception and Reservations duties, answering telephones, checking guests in and out, responsible to collecting guests' payments, completing daily reports, up-selling and offering special offer/promotions, taking guest's accommodation, restaurant and spa bookings. Other duties may be required daily or when necessary, to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel.

General Reception & Admin duties -

  • Answering phones (responding to and redirecting queries)
  • Responding to emails
  • Greeting guests/assisting with their needs
  • Checking guests in/out
  • Dealing with queries and complaints
  • Guestline - Rezlynx reservation system experience essential

Pay :

  • £11.50 an hour, 10% on top for summer and £12 after 3 month probation

Hours :

  • Shifts Patterns- 7am to 3pm or from 3pm to 10.30pm.
  • You must be able to work evenings and weekends and bank holidays.

NO Live in accommodation available
