This individual will have a proven track-record in sales, an understanding of the football landscape and the ability to drive revenue for a business through developing sponsorships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Target Potential Sponsors: Research and identify prospective sponsors that align with the organisation's brand values and objectives; as well as develop a comprehensive database of potential sponsorship leads.
  • Develop Sponsorship Proposals: Create compelling and tailored sponsorship proposals
  • Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead negotiations with potential sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals that achieve revenue targets and deliver value to sponsors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors, ensuring that each client receives exceptional service and value.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing, communications, and events teams to ensure that all sponsorship agreements are executed effectively.


Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sponsorship sales, preferably within football.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Track record of hitting sales targets.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with brands.
  • Comfortable hosting C-Suite level clients at matches and events.


Additional Information:

  • Salary: £35K - £40K
  • Location: Bristol (hybrid model, in office ≈ 3 days per week)
  • 12 month fixed-term-contract
