The Angel needs an unpretentious food enthusiast at the helm committed to serving delicious quality food all day long, with 100 covers internally & 120 externally. The pub has an unrivalled reputation for providing excellent service every time. Guests enjoy this pub all year round with roaring fires in the winter and a beautiful, spacious, and family-focused garden ideal in the summer months.

The recruitment of an exceptional operator will be critical to this pubs success. We need someone who can confidently take the helm and lead a new team into the next stage of its success story. Not only will you have consistently high standards, but you will also be able to manage and train a large team. You will inspire and motivate them to follow your perfectionism and attention to detail. We need an operator with high volume food experience alongside honed social media skills. Storytelling on digital channels will be essential to reach a new audience with your premium offering.

The ideal Management Partner will create a warm and welcoming market town pub with every guest leaving with a memorable experience.

The Pub and Area

The Angel is a popular pub in Kelvedon with a fantastic atmosphere ideal for a quick pint after getting off the train or celebrating a family event. Youll discover it in the centre of the affluent commuter town of Kelvedon Essex, with many new housing developments underway on the outskirts.

Kelvedon is a flourishing Society, comprising mainly over 45s. Broadening the guest age range in this demographic would grow the business, potentially elevating Sunday lunch to a special occasion. Market research and using online platforms to widen your audience will help to grow the business significantly.
