A brand new opening has become available at Gin and Brews shop and Microbar Garstang.

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Bar manager to join the team in Garstangs first microbar.

You will be responsible for all operations within the bar, we have nine lines mix of local crafts fine wines, spirits and a cocktail offering.

You will support and motivate the team and join the venue whilst bringing your spin on the premises.

It is important to us that you are career minded and that you are passionate about high-end hospitality. We are looking for someone who wants to leave a positive mark at the property and the area.

LOCATION

We are at the heart of the Garstang within the old RBS bank on the high street.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience working in Craft ale bars and craft spirit venues.
  • Cellar Management experience essential.
  • You will be hands on with the team and driven to ensure our guest's experience is memorable and high standards of service are met.
  • Be passionate and confident with customers
  • Be able to take ownership in implementing accurate stock takes and ensuring they are managed on a monthly effectively basis.
  • Have a passion for training and development of team members
  • Have experience is opening and closing a venue.
  • Deputise staff and prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assesd customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations*
