Summary of the role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our vibrant Change Team and to deliver quality change services on behalf of one of our largest clients. This role will manage and deliver one or more projects or programme work-streams in order to deliver meet objectives across the business change initiatives. You will be client-focused, so someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills is essential.
It is based in Bristol on a hybrid basis, with flexibility on remote working.

What you’ll be doing
- Deliver project tasks according to agreed time, budget, and quality parameters in order to meet business needs.
- Apply project management practices, such as, planning, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, reporting, and handling risks, issues, lessons learned, and dependencies.
- Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and customers, making sure what we deliver meets their needs and ensuring they are fully informed of progress throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Assess project progress against plan, thinking laterally to resolve risks and issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate any risks to the project, taking appropriate actions to minimise impacts
- Produce required project artefacts, as stipulated within the Diligenta Lifecycle
- Liaise with IT delivery and Business Readiness leads to ensure we're ready to deliver quality change into the business.
What we’re looking for
- A seasoned project manager with a strong grasp of project management techniques and methodologies.
- Experienced in managing and motivating teams consisting of both specialised and generalist staff.
- Proven track record in handling medium to large-scale and/or high-risk projects within the financial services sector.
- Skilled in managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Possess a diverse skill set with the ability to quickly learn new areas and establish credibility with professionals from various disciplines.
- Experienced in driving business solution identification and project initiation.
- Demonstrated history of successful project leadership and delivery.
