On behalf of a leading investment bank, we are seeking an experienced Senior M&A Associate to join the growing Energy Infrastructure Transition team based in London. This team specializes in the rapidly expanding sectors of renewables, infrastructure, and clean energy. The focus will predominantly be on M&A transactions (80%) while also providing debt advisory services.

As part of a collaborative global network, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across Europe and North America . The London team has more than 10 professionals and is experiencing a record-breaking year, making it an exciting time to contribute to the growth of the business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and execute M&A transactions, predominantly within the energy transition and infrastructure sectors.
  • Support the team on debt advisory projects related to clean energy and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-border teams in Europe and North America on various mandates.
  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence to ensure successful deal outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and industry partners.


Key Requirements:


  • Proven track record of experience in M&A within the infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing transactions from inception to completion, including due diligence and negotiations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.
  • Previous exposure to debt advisory is advantageous but not essential.
