Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Head of Clinical Services role, to support a leading provider of therapeutic residential care/education in Shropshire.


*Car driver mandatory due to rural location*


Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will manage the clinical team for the Learning Disability and Autism services. You will be responsible for consulting staff teams, supervision of team members, strategic development for the team, develop policies (clinical governance) and deliver training.

The successful applicant will also hold a small clinical caseload and provide psychological assessments, training, and direct therapy for children and young people who could present with Trauma, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Harmful Sexual Behaviours.


Contract type – permanent, full time

Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary - £62,000 FTE, DOE


Experience required:

Candidates applying will have accreditation or membership with a relevant body and hold experience with a health, medical/social background. You will also have experience of management, audit, knowledge of harmful sexual behaviour and working with children, learning disabilities, trauma or Autism.
