Content Executive

We are seeking an experienced and driven Content Executive to join our inclusive team. The successful candidate will support the existing Client Services team in the creation of all client content. The ideal candidate will have a background in Searchable Content creation for B2Bs.


Your core areas of focus will be:

1) Administration: You will effectively and efficiently respond to requests to create and update copy and images for our existing client portfolio. Time sensitive changes mean the ideal candidate will be great at working to tight deadlines, and will have a sharp eye for detail.


2) Content-creation – with SEO: Working alongside the Head of Strategy and SEO Manager, the Content Executive will assist in the creation of SEO-first content to support client business priorities. Using tools such as SE Ranking to write original and valuable content.


3) General editing: Working alongside the account managers, the Content Executive will also help to ensure that all content meets client tone of voice guidelines. The Content Executive will assist in proofing and editing content across all the client portfolio.


In general, the Content Executive would be assisting in the creation and editing of content and campaigns across all clients. Working as part of the Marketing team, they would be an intrinsic part of making sure clients are served by engaging and authoritative content.


Applicants will be dynamic content editors with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills. They will collaborate well with members of the agency team to create and facilitate word-perfect copy. They will be great at multi-tasking, dealing with short-notice requests, and at keeping a tight focus under pressure. At the same time, the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in SEO and enjoy working as part of a team in a B2B marketing agency.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Responding to requests from Client Services to update and create copy / content
  • Writing blog posts, social posts and email copy in keeping with client brand tone of voice
  • Maintaining in-house schedules to ensure all requests are kept up to date
  • Ensuring content is optimised for SEO and best practice is implemented
  • Analysing SEO data and Tools to ensure sure we’re selecting emerging search trends
  • Sub-editing copy across all channels to ensure it meets brand tone of voice
  • Using internal CRM / CMS to manage and publish all content requests.
  • Working with the Client Services Team to conceive, create and deliver new creative campaign and editorial ideas to promote the portfolio of customers.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • 2 years proven experience in content marketing, social media or copywriting
  • Experience using a CMS (WordPress).
  • Able to write and edit quickly and accurately while adapting to brand tone of voice
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software packages to a competent standard
  • Experience in working with SEO from a content perspective is highly desirable
  • Experience of using analytics programmes (SEM Rush / GA4 / SE Ranking / Ahrefs) is highly desirable

OVERVIEW

Position: Content Executive

Location: Hybrid (Remote and minimum 2 days Office-based in Theale, Berkshire)

Salary: £25K to £30K (Depending on Experience)
