Regional Housebuilder Sales Manager (London & South-East)


As part of the Housing team, reporting to the National Housing Sector Manager, the position of Regional Housebuilder Sales Manager is a vitally important role within the organisation and will hold a requirement to deliver year on year profitable growth, ensuring gross and operating margins are maintained through a stringent cost control process. You will be required to identify, target and secure Housebuilder specifications with SME and National Housebuilders, along with Housing Associations and PRS developers. The position will require a strategic sales professional capable of identifying opportunities, formulating a product and pricing proposal which separates us from the competition and exceeds customer expectations



Essential Criteria:

  • Previous Housebuilder specification led sales experience (preferably within the flooring sector)
  • Fluent in the tendering process, capable of compiling tenders and managing the end-to-end process
  • Knowledge of the housing sector with a detailed understanding of challenges faced by key decision makers
  • Existing relationships with senior procurement decision makers with regional and national Housebuilders
  • Able to travel frequently across the UK and Internationally when required
  • Valid UK Driving Licence


Requirements:

  • Excellent communicator who shares relevant information with other departments.
  • Proactive strategic thinker capable of leading by example and driving new business.
  • Experience launching new products into new markets, from strategy formulation through to implementation and execution.
  • Preferably have a background in the Flooring industry.
  • Be analytical in your approach, using data effectively to help make business critical decisions.
  • Be commercially astute and accurate/confident in providing forecasts/budgets to the National Housing Sector Manager.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal and presenting skills, comfortable in working with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
  • Be a natural self-starter, enthusiastic, and capable of working with little input from management.
