You will work as a core member of one of our consultancy delivery teams. You will be able to support and lead two delivery teams on streams of cyber activities including Architecture, Options Analysis, Research, and Investigations. You will be able to establish excellent working relationships with the client and form strong bonds with the delivery teams contributing to the production of high-quality products that meet the briefs.


You will be working in a number of different areas within the Cyber Security Domain which will require you to have a reasonable technical background and experience of delivering technical projects or services.


As a Delivery Manager you will lead the teams to identify requirements, mitigate risk, resolve issues, plan, track and report into the client and the Management Team. Communication in this role is vital and being able to forge strong positive relationships with all stakeholders’ is key to achieving success.

You will be required to meet with the client and the consultancy/delivery team onsite in London 2-3 times/week and maintain regular comms with stakeholders throughout the week



Skills

Project management:

  • Deep understanding of various project management frameworks and the ability to apply them appropriately, in particular agile and waterfall methodologies, PRINCE2 certified is desirable
  • Experience in planning, executing, and finalizing cybersecurity projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.


Risk management:

Ability to identify potential cybersecurity risks and work with delivery team and stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.


Technical proficiency:

  • Expertise in cybersecurity technologies and tools with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies to guide secure project delivery.
  • Familiarity with security systems, cloud infrastructure, and the ability to manage them within project constraints.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent.


Technical Skills:

Understanding of the full SDLC in both Agile and traditional Waterfall environments.



Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with experience of working within defence sector.
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management software.
  • Prior experience acting as a Scrum Master and providing project management expertise to change projects.
  • Experience in overseeing the deliverables of cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills



Responsibilities

  • Support the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of Cyber security artefacts and services.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track and report project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, be able to take complex technical topics and translate appropriately.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
