Middle Office Specialist

ROLE TITLE: Middle Office Reporting & F&A Lead

ROLE PURPOSE:

  • WNS resource to work with Client from London office playing the role of key connect between the onshore and offshore F&A operations teams.
  • cross-vertical performance and matrix relationship by leveraging his/her domain expertise and developing strong processes.
  • with Client to understand their requirements and suitably help offshore team to design operations structure to integrate the requirements with seamless service delivery.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


SOLUTION, DESIGN & BUILD

Participate in any onshore/offshore transformation initiatives, acting as a liaison between offshore and onshore delivery teams.

Key stakeholder and reviewing authority for any process re-engineering and new platform implementation.

Provide support and guidance to the team for any changes related to core operating process, technology platform e.g., ERP, etc.


PROCESS

Own the reporting CoE-

Including Consolidation of Group Entities and Holding Companies; Statutory Account Preparation for all entities within the Group

Roll forwards of Investment numbers, reconciliations & reporting

Preparation of returns not limited to Lloyds returns, Investment and other regulatory returns across group entities

Reporting KRAs with a view to constantly innovate & transform the processes to bring in best in class performance

Own matrix relationship for F&A operations, including all Client interactions, reporting & governance, business exceptions & any customer concerns.

Query resolution and first point of contact for the onshore teams.

Coordinate with offshore teams on the specific production plans e.g., month-end, quarter close, year-end, etc. basis priorities set by Client/counterparts.


PEOPLE

  • participate in Client meetings and provide directional support.
  • the F&A offshore team to deliver to client client expectations.
  • good interpersonal skills to liaise with senior Client stakeholders and manage expectations


RESOURCE PROFILE

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent) with overall 12-15 years relevant experience and at least 8-10 yrs in similar role.
  • experience in Lloyd’s and London Market operations delivery
  • Lloyd’s reporting including regulatory reporting experience in Lloyd’s and London market
  • of IFRS 17 implementation would be an added advantage
