My client, a top Macro Hedge Fund, are currently looking to add a talented Economist to their investment team in London. The successful applicant will work closely with the team's senior economists across a broad range of topics, asset classes and regions (both EM and DM)


Essential Requirements:


  • PhD or MSc. in Economics from a Russell Group or Ivy League University, graduating with top class honours
  • PhD + 1-3 yrs of experience as a macroeconomist within a central bank, supranational or top financial institution
  • MSc + 3-5 yrs of experience as a macroeconomist within a central bank, supranational or top financial institution
  • An extremely strong grasp of econometrics and statistics
  • Practical experience of conducting empirical analysis and working with large data sets
