On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to be a pivotal leader in orchestrating and delivering multiple complex data focused projects and workstreams within a data strategy initiative. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in leading multi-year projects, collaborating with IT teams, and engaging with various business units to drive success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects and workstreams from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT teams and key stakeholders across the wider business to align project goals with business objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the data strategy, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Identify, analyse, and address complex business data challenges, providing innovative solutions to enhance data quality, accessibility, and usability.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations through regular updates, presentations, and meetings.
  • Utilise excellent people skills to mentor and guide project team members, facilitating their professional growth and development.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a focus on leading multiple yearly projects and workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex business data challenges and deliver successful data strategy initiatives.
  • Strong background in working with IT teams and cross-functional business units.
  • Exceptional people skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
