We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Mitie, as we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Facilities Manager to be able to manage Water Hygiene/Decontamination at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.


We are looking for a facilities manager with the ability to manage demanding scenarios and who can undertake performance monitoring fault diagnosis, using fine tools and equipment. You will be a dedicated and committed member of the team with a flexible approach and will have excellent attention to detail. You must be approachable, as they will be liaising with clients and stakeholders.


You will have the ability to interpret and make judgement across a wide range of highly complex estates issues, considering legislation, expert advice, and conflicting demands. As the Facilities Manager, you will understand and interpret legislation, develop work plans and policies, and react to unplanned events/emergencies in a controlled manner.


The Facilities Manager will be able to demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of the importance of treating all individuals with dignity and respect appropriate to their individual needs. All staff are expected to engage in compassionate and inclusive leadership in the provision of high-quality care and interactions with other requirements specific to the role.


You will have experience working with CAFM systems, PPM planning and reactive maintenance tasks as well as considerable knowledge of Healthcare Engineering services within the Water Hygiene profession. Experience of working in an acute or non-acute hospital setting. Analytical and judgement skills will be essential, as well as NEBOSH /IOSH Certificates and a full UK Driving Licence.
