Job Title: Procurement Administrator

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Location: South East London

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

The Vacancy:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our procurement system, handling incoming requests from stakeholders, and providing efficient administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the procurement team, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
  • Maintain and manage the procurement system, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Handle and respond to incoming requests from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with system training for new users and support existing users with queries.
  • Contribute to the development of reports and analysis to support procurement decisions.
  • Support the team with problem-solving and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.

Person Specification:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding of the procurement function and its importance within an organisation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within procurement.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
