OXBO are currently partnered with a UK renewable energy company who have just initiated their energy supply offering to C&I clients across the UK as a licenced energy supplier.

They are seeking an Energy Operations Manager to help them with this transition to trade on wholesale markets.

With the support of the wider team, the Energy Operations Manager will oversee the supply side of the business.

This is a brand new role in a growing, bespoke team. There’s a huge opportunity to build the operation for a small, niche supply business where you will have visibility across the wider company.


The Role

  • Responsible for procuring gas and electricity
  • Responsible for selling and buying energy to the wholesale markets and directly to customers.
  • Regulatory compliance and client management including risk, account and billing management.
  • Providing up to date reports on the business and assisting the product team in creating tools to make a more efficient process.
  • Ensuring that the company fulfils all supply license and contractual obligations.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new assets in partnership with the wider team
  • Monitoring contractor performance


Role Requirements

  • Experience in the electricity and gas markets in the UK
  • An interest in the renewable energy sector
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Experience in regulatory compliance in the energy sector
