WHO WE ARE

Narrative Entertainment is the largest independent TV broadcaster in the UK with a portfolio that includes Movies, Entertainment and Children’s TV. At Narrative we work on linear broadcast channels (GREAT and Pop Networks), AVOD apps and a range of FAST (Free Ad Supported TV) on major platforms.

️ THE ROLE

As a Compliance Editor, you will play a key role in reviewing and editing a diverse range of content from Hollywood blockbusters to kids' shows and documentaries; ensuring it aligns with industry standards and platform guidelines. Collaborating with the other key departments you will make sure the content is accessible and compliant across all channels. Your role also includes building vendor relationships, contributing to new processes, and supporting team and personal development to drive business objectives.

‍ THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting to the Senior Compliance & Editor Manager, you will review and edit a wide range of content in a timely manner ensuring that it aligns with UK broadcasting regulations
• Collaborate seamlessly with Scheduling, Marketing, Media Planning, and Digital teams to ensure top-quality content reaches and engages our audience.
• Review and analyse content to assign accurate on-air warnings and age-restriction classifications, ensuring compliance across all brands and platforms.
• Create metadata and log edits across in-house systems.
• Collaborate with the team on ad-hoc specialist post-production projects

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 3+ years of experience complying with long-form content
• Proven advanced understanding of using editing software (Adobe Premier preferred)
• A high degree of knowledge of Ofcom Regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Calm and level-headed, especially under pressure
• Have experience creating and formatting subtitles
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
