Project Support Engineer jobs we are recruiting join the team

Stannah is looking for a Project Support Engineer to join the Major Projects team.

As the Project Support Engineer, you will manage Stannah Major Projects sites, by carrying out regular and planned visits ensuring our subcontractor installers provide the level of service expected of Stannah and our clients.

You will provide the builder with advice and when required, technical solutions, to ensure each lift is installed to the highest engineer and safety standards and tested to programme and on budget.

This a national job that will require the successful candidate to work away on occasion depending on business requirements.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who has previous experience installing all types of lifts as well as knowledge of construction sites and building processes.

Project Support Engineer Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and schedule work issued to you
  • Supervise site based activity
  • Manage risk against each project
  • Assist the Project Manager in all aspect of the installation, commission and test programme, including pre-planning and liaising with customers to ensure that programme dates are met
  • Ensure that all site H&S paperwork is completed
  • Visit and check sites to ensure customers are aware of pre-installation and commissioning requirements
  • Monitoring the compliance of installation staff.

Project Support Engineer Job Requirements:

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • EOR 202
  • NVQ in Management or equivalent (Desirable)
  • CSCS Supervisors (Gold) (Desirable)
  • NVQ3 Lift Installation (Desirable)
  • PTS (Desirable)
