SmartPro are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our client within their clinical and application research team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences across various platforms. Candidates most suitable for this role will be T-Shaped individuals who are exceptionally skilled in at least one competence, yet cable of applying knowledge outside of one’s own area of expertise. Solid experience in the field of Product Development is desirable.


Salary/Hours: £35,000 / Monday to Friday - Days.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using various tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Create visually appealing designs that align with brand guidelines while ensuring usability and accessibility.
  • Maintain design documentation and specifications for seamless handoff to development teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, applying them to improve our products continuously.
  • Participate in product development discussions to ensure designs meet technical feasibility and business objectives.


Requirements:

  • Experience working in UX teams as a UX Designer with a proven record of delivering successful concepts and strategies.
  • Broad understanding of key consumer research methodologies.
  • Sound understanding of statistics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about user needs and behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design work, demonstrating your process from concept through execution is essential.
