Established in 2018 in the United Kingdom, Powercargo has quickly become a trusted partner for businesses of all sizes in need of reliable and efficient shipping, warehousing, and customs solutions.
Due to continued growth our company is currently seeking for an experienced Road-Freight Coordinator to join our team. The role is fully remote, home-based, with all office equipment provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily monitoring and management of European and Domestic road-freight movements.
• Liaise with all parties involved: freight agents, hauliers, customer brokers - ensuring smooth process is always followed.
• Working with and reviewing documents such as CMRs, commercial invoices, packing lists, POD's.
• Liaising with customs authorities and Border Force in events of examinations or inspections.
• Data input and management on CargoWise.
• Monitoring multiple inboxes and responding in a timely manner, always staying on top of things.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• Vast knowledge of logistics operations and freight forwarding specifically road-freight is required for this role.
• Experience in management of ocean freight and air freight is desirable.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and with a professional attitude.
• Hardworking and passionate attitude to work, and someone that's motivated to build up the department as the business grows.
• Excellent team player when needed but also someone that can work autonomously and is self-motivated.
• Experience working with CargoWise is a must.
• Experience in handling customs clearances is a bonus.
