Join us as a RBSI Head of Regulatory Reporting Manager

  • You’ll oversee the delivery the Prudential Regulatory reporting for our RBSI branches and subsidiaries
  • You’ll contribute to various regulatory change projects, working collaboratively across change, technology and business finance and risk teams

What you’ll do

You’ll be overseeing the delivery of high quality regulatory reporting MI and analysis on a timely and accurate basis, which meets the customer’s needs. A key part of your new role will be to make sure that prudential reporting to our various regulators are produced and delivered on an accurate and timely basis,.

You’ll also:

  • Ensure compliance to regulatory data validation checks across various regulatory returns
  • Working collaboratively across change, technology, business finance, and risk teams, you’ll support various regulatory change projects and ensure processes and outputs are updated to reflect required changes to reporting deliverables
  • Provide regular analysis and challenge to support management in regulatory related decisions
  • Build strong relationships to make sure the delivery of output reports are of a high quality and fit for purpose
  • Review MI packs including business commentary for various Head of Jurisdiction committee meetings
  • Build a strong culture of continuous improvement within the team

The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with a Finance qualification, which will be coupled with significant post-qualification experience in financial services reporting. You’ll also need strong knowledge of Basel II, Basel III, CoRep frameworks, and strong knowledge of mortgage reporting framework.

We’ll also expect you to have:

  • Significant experience in regulatory or financial reporting
  • The ability to understand and interpret regulatory guidelines
  • The ability to understand and identify key issues from both summary and detailed data
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of working in a globally distributed team in a leading bank
  • Proficient in Excel, including data visualisation, power pivots and basic understand of VBA
  • Good knowledge on lending business products
