We are recruiting for a luxury developer looking for an experienced General Manger for a stunning residential site in Belsize Park, North West London. On offer is a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits.
As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering a thriving community for both owners and renters within the development, ensuring the smooth operation of the site and its facilities.
This role is centered on providing the highest level of customer service to homeowners and tenants while also overseeing service charges, budgets, and the overall financial management of the development.
You will have experience in building or facilities management in a high-end environement. While those from the hospitality sector could be considered, a residential background is preferred, or at least substantial relevant experience. Ideally, you will also have experience in P&L and service charge accounting.
The position is supported by an AGM and Building & Community Coordinators, with outsourced security providing 24/7 front desk coverage on weekends.
The site includes a pool, communal lounge, wellness facilities, and an onsite restaurant managed by an external operator.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with the possibility of some weekend work.
Key requirements
- Experience as a General Manager in a high-quality setting, ideally in a residential set up
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team
- Experience leading Health & Safety initiatives and strong knowledge of facilities management
- Commercially savvy with solid experience in budget management
- Effective communicator with a strong passion for people
- Excellent IT skills
- Right to work in the UK
