About the Company:

We are looking to hire an experienced furniture Project Manager, to lead the planning and implementation of our furniture installation projects in the Midlands/North. With our five UK and four EU locations we service our customers across the EMEA region. About the Role:

You will have experience in handling large scale furniture projects and proven strategic planning, preferably with a technical understanding of aspects of architectural design, interior and furniture design. You will produce quotations based on the furniture project requirements and manage project budgets. You will oversee logistics and installation of the projects therefore extensive knowledge of the furniture industry and proven experience within a similar project management role is a must. The Project Manager role is a permanent, full-time position and Tsunami Axis is a supportive, fun and collaborative network of colleagues working in a fast-paced design environment. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the furniture project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Produce quotations for the Sales Manager based on furniture project specific requirements
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Manage project budgets
  • Manage deliveries and installations for all projects
  • Supply chain management – assist with planning, improvement/development, logistics and distribution including the management of freight from overseas suppliers
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Manage customer service and assess that we are meeting customer satisfaction goals
  • Oversee and make improvements to logistics & installation services


Required skills:

Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management with techniques and tools with proven experience in a Project Manager role with strategic planning. Experience in handling large scale projects is desirable and experience of furniture installation preferred. Strong analytical skills and experience of time management in a creative environment is essential. Technical understanding of aspects of architectural design, interior and furniture design.
