Agile Project Manager
Business Introduction:
The demand for Power Platform solutions is ever-increasing, and as such, so is our team. Our ambition is to leverage the Power Platform’s capabilities and bring enhanced analytics and automated processes to every business - saving them valuable time and resources.
From Healthcare and Real Estate to Aerospace and Manufacturing - we work across a variety of different sectors. If they are running a manual process, or producing manual reports, we know that we can make them more efficient and save them valuable time.
Role Introduction:
So, we’re on the lookout for an Agile Project Manager to join us. You will be a key part of our delivery team, leading a portfolio of projects whilst supporting a team of developers. You will advocate and coach the use of best practice methodologies and techniques for the effective delivery of those projects.
If you are a people-focused, client-facing individual with great organisational skills, a solid Change Management background, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver their projects effectively, being aware of the varying workstreams, resource limitations and interdependencies
- Understand your clients’ goals and issues and create deliverables with your team which meet or exceed their needs
- Manage client expectations, being in control of their projects and transparent with risks
- Manage your clients’ budgets, and expectations of such, supporting their achievement of positive return on investment, and proactively managing change requests
- Be a champion of agile and lean techniques, coaching and training others as needed
- Be there to support the difficult conversations when projects don’t go to plan, supporting your team
- Work closely with the Commercial Account Managers to ensure cohesive approach to account strategies
Desired Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience working in the same or a related, Project, Programme or Delivery Manager role within the IT/Technology/Digital industry
- Experience leading and building strong technical teams and keeping them motivated
- Experience running multiple client projects from inception through full life cycle, with a handle on the cost vs value delivered
- Be an effective communicator, able to bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Confident in your financial management, both internally maximising revenue and cash flow, and externally managing customer budgets
- Ability to prioritise your own, your team and your customers workloads and backlogs accordingly, challenging where appropriate to ensure value
- Deep understanding of agile and lean methodologies and how they help deliver products and services, and experience in promoting agile practices across an organisation
- Strong interest in technology
- Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen and have experience of client negotiations
- Able to identify, communicate and manage risks across multiple project workstreams
- Motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment remotely and in the Bespoke office or client sites when needed
- Experience with Power Platform – BI, Apps, Automate, or similar low code solutions is an advantage
