SharpEnd is now seeking a Marketing Manager, reporting to the Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, to help promote the company to new and existing clients. The role is a vital part of the company’s scale up plans following significant investment from Fedrigoni, the world’s leading specialist paper and self-adhesives company, secured at the end of 2023.


The Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, create and lead the execution of SharpEnd marketing efforts across content, social, events and PR to a high standard and with attention to detail.
  • Monitor and analyse trends in the market and work with internal partners and external suppliers (PR) to create thought leadership designed to attract new clients.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to spot, nurture, and convert new opportunities with marketing support.
  • Generate ideas and approaches to help SharpEnd achieve its business goals - proactivity is key.


What you’ll bring to SharpEnd:


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:


  • Proactive approach to problem solving and opportunities. You run towards problems, you spot opportunities to capitalise on.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and decision-making skills.
  • Expert in marketing platforms including LinkedIn and HubSpot
  • Experience developing and executing social media strategies and content marketing to develop business leads.
  • An exceptional level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and streamline multiple workflows simultaneously.
  • A demonstrable passion for creativity, technology, and innovation.


Experience:


The ideal candidate will have the following experience:


  • 3+ years of proven experience in marketing and/or business development in an agency or similar business.
  • Superb writing and editorial skills - a background in journalism or similar profession is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability in delivering measurable business outcomes from marketing programmes.
  • A solid track record in building successful marketing strategies beyond one-off campaigns.
  • Experience working with major multi-national brand owner clients is an advantage.


What SharpEnd will do for you:


  • Hybrid working style (3-4 days in the office) with Mondays and Tuesdays being full agency days.
  • Pension: 3% employer contribution with People's Pension (from 3 months).
