About the Role

Our client, a leader in delivering innovative solutions across the Utilities, Working at Height, and Lifting and Holding sectors, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven European Sales Manager. This is a key role focused on driving new business development, implementing strategic sales plans, and fostering exceptional customer relationships to achieve growth in assigned territories.


Role Overview

As the European Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and expanding the customer base, driving revenue growth, and establishing the brand as a leader in the market. This position offers an exciting opportunity to travel and work within diverse markets, contributing directly to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement an inspiring sales strategy to achieve and exceed budgetary targets within assigned territories.
  • Identify innovative routes to market and present strategic ideas to maximize customer performance.
  • Leverage sector knowledge to position the brand as an essential technology provider in the market.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Conduct proactive business development to onboard new customers across all relevant sectors (Utilities, Working at Height, and Lifting and Holding).
  • Drive growth in market share and brand presence in line with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Promote advanced monitoring technologies and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Account Management & Customer Support

  • Take ownership of pricing strategies and ensure alignment with gross margin requirements.
  • Provide training, strategic planning, and onsite support to key accounts to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to customer requirements.

Market Advocacy

  • Drive sales of innovative products through key customer accounts and relevant influencers.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and events to build product awareness and generate leads.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM system for assigned accounts and territories.
  • Align activities with key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on performance.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with broader marketing objectives.
  • Present innovative product ideas and strategies to senior leadership to support future growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in business development, sales strategy, or account management.
  • Knowledge of the Utilities, Working at Height, and/or Lifting and Holding sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven reporting.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally, averaging 8–10 days per month.
