Description:

The Social Media & Marketing Specialist is responsible for strategically managing and growing all organic social media platforms and innovative campaign initiatives for PXG UK and EMEA. This position will leverage engaging organic social media to help build robust brand awareness and support the company's ambitious global social strategy and expansive growth goals. Day-to-day tasks include actively managing UK and EMEA social channels, proactively engaging with customers, creating and posting compelling content and handling customer service matters via social media channels. Collaborating with the Marketing Manager on strategic marketing initiatives and creation of marketing materials.


Responsibilities:

  • Create post and manage engaging and brand compliant content across various social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, You Tube and TikTok.
  • Analyse social media metrics and marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in creating region-specific social content to supplement existing content from the U.S. team (events, holidays, etc.).
  • Optimize social media profiles for search engines to improve visibility and drive traffic.
  • Engage with followers, respond to all daily comments and messages, and foster a strong community presence across all social media platforms.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Support team to address customer service issues expressed via social media channels.
  • Update Facebook catalogue and manage Instacart/tap-to-shop activations for posts.
  • Monitor, listen and respond to industry chatter and PXG mentions, even those on other relevant pages, in ways that build positive brand awareness and lead to follower growth, fitting leads, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance the company’s social media presence.
  • Support in the planning and execution of promotional strategies for events, product launches, and other marketing initiatives to maximize reach and impact.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and other departments to coordinate and support integrated marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager on marketing initiatives, ideas and strategy.
  • Collaborate with in-country team on the design of creative marketing materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Experience and Education:

  • 2+ years’ experience specifically within marketing and social media in the UK and EMEA.
  • Experience creating content.
  • Experience in marketing initiatives
  • Experience with luxury brands preferred.
  • Design experience using Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Video editing using Premier Pro or similar software is a plus.
  • Experience in the golf industry is a plus.


Skills Required:

  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok.)
  • Understand how to use customer data to improve performance and approach.
  • Exceptional writing and grammar skills, including strong content development.
  • Effectively build relations with both internal and external customers.
  • Effectively communicate information and ideas.
  • Experience utilising Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and other social tools is a plus.
  • Strong desire to provide an excellent social customer service experience.
  • Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Super-organised with strong attention to detail.


The salary will be between 35k - 40k.

While the position is remote, there would be monthly travel required to our offices in Esher, Surrey.
