Your new role working as a Motor Underwriter (Personal Lines) means that you will be working for a mid-market Commercial Insurer based in the city, where it has been serving its customers for over 40 years. Providing efficient, timely and professional support to brokers for both new business & renewals, mid-term adjustment and general enquiries. Due to exciting growth within their team, a fantastic opportunity for a Motor Underwriter to join their London team has arisen.


Your new job working as a Motor Underwriter means you will be responsible for:


  • Underwrite new and existing businesses, provide quotes and negotiate pricing
  • Underwrite personal Motor insurances within agreed guidelines and authority levels.
  • Provide high quality customer services
  • Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to brokers
  • Potential to grow their book of business
  • Working directly with the CEO

What you'll need to succeed


  • At least 5 years Motor Underwriting experiences, preferable in personal line within an Insurer
  • Be driven, ambitious and eager
  • Strong knowledge of Insurance
  • Excellent progression within this position
  • Ideally you will be CERT CII or DIP CII qualified
