Our Inverness office is hiring On the bonnie banks of the River Ness and Moray Firth, you’ve got the Scottish Highlands on your doorstep. Our growing office works with a range of exclusive and high-profile clients in the Construction and Property, Finance and Business Support industries. You’ll be joining a team with mixed experiences and backgrounds, supporting you in your journey to success in the industry. Only one of its kind in Scotland, we also manage a large client account in-house.


You’ll be joining our most successful and profitable business, Construction and Property, as a candidate focussed Resourcing Consultant. This role is integral in our business, cementing together our Consultants and Clients with a consistently high-performing candidate pipeline.


The Opportunity


Within the role, you’ll work alongside an experienced and talented Account Manager to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. By understanding the most suitable candidate profile, advertising vacancies and sourcing top talent in the industry, you’ll build long-lasting and impactful relationships with local candidates.


This opportunity would be suitable for both recent graduates and those considering a change to career. You don’t need recruitment experience – just the ambition and drive to make a difference and shape your own success.


You’ll receive industry-leading training and support from consultants all at levels, from Associate to Senior Business Manager. We will give you the tools and resources to be successful and make an early impact.


What can I expect day to day?


As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll gain exposure to a range of activities and learn throughout. Some of your main responsibilities may include:


  • Proactively managing key accounts.
  • Engaging with a range of candidates, explaining the benefits of working via Hays and highlighting relevant opportunities.
  • Identify talent in the local market and manage our database, to fill roles efficiently.
  • Utilising social media and other tools to source and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Winning new business
  • Managing vacancies from start to finish.
