£26,210.72 to £29,801.64 (inclusive of shift allowance)
Job Summary:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our team, complete with a ‘Golden Hello’ of £5000 and a yearly retention payment of £2000. If you are empathetic and passionate about helping young people, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised care and support to young residents.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the young people.
- Work proactively within a professional care team.
Requirements:
- Empathy and a passion for helping young people.
- Ability to build positive relationships.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.
- Ability to participate in physical activities.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Prior knowledge of child protection issues and understanding of the development needs of children and young people is desirable but not essential.
Shift Patterns:
- 7:30 – 16:30 and 13:00 – 22:00 with alternate weekends off.
- Willingness to do overnight stays (sleep-ins on a rota basis).
Benefits:
- Golden Hello: £5000 paid in two instalments of £2.5K (at start and upon successful completion of 6-month probation period).
- Yearly Retention Payment: £2000 per annum subject to performance.
- Comprehensive induction program and continuous learning and development.
- Sleep-in allowance paid.
- Meals provided on shift.
- Free onsite parking.
- 25 days of annual leave per year plus bank holidays.
