Purpose of the Role:

As a Learning Designer at Data Literacy Academy, you will work closely with SMEs and Graphic Designers to develop eLearning content for our self-directed learning platform. We are seeking additional resource to help us meet current and future production demands.


The position is ideal for someone who has had previous experience developing learning materials in a corporate environment, and has experience working in a matrix management structure. The successful candidate will have experience translating SME scripts into rich, interactive content using Articulate Storyline 360 so that it meets established branding, education and design standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Using a script from a SME, build out impactful, dynamic eLearning content in Articulate Storyline 360
  • Take into consideration learning design principles, being clear on the pacing, learner interactions, and animations needed
  • Advise on instructional design approaches to agree a standard of delivery
  • Deliver content to pressured, fixed deadlines

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is familiar and comfortable with using Articulate Storyline 360 in the development of eLearning content
  • Has an instructional design background and is able to translate content written by SMEs into dynamic content with minimal support
  • Has worked with SMEs and Designers to develop learning content that meets both education and brand standards
  • Is able to balance a need for accuracy with the demands of fixed deadlines
