The Social Media & Content Executive will report in to the Founder to support creative development, concepts and ideas. In this role, they will be responsible for the creation and execution of social media strategies across Selkie’s Instagram account.


Responsibilities:


Content Planning and Scheduling

Develop a weekly content calendar to maintain a consistent online presence, integrating relevant national events, holidays, and significant dates for relevant content as well as Selkie's events and news updates.


Content Creation

Produce high-quality content (photos, videos, graphics) for social media, editing content using tools like Canva. Must be comfortable behind and in front of the camera to create relatable content.


Strategy and Reporting

Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with Selkie's goals and vision of becoming a game-changing brand Present the weekly strategy to the Founder for approval and incorporate feedback. Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data.


Collaboration and Networking

Collaborate and source UGC creators, influencers and brands to enhance the social media strategy.


About You:


  • Experienced in using Instagram and able to demonstrate previous examples of successful social media campaigns
  • Creative thinker who can come up with engaging campaign ideas
  • A positive attitude with a passion for social media & and the mission that Selkie is on
  • Ability to copywrite SEO captions and hashtags with great attention to detail
  • An eye for capturing aesthetic content
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
