The role:


The Associate Partner - Client Solutions will be excited to join our global client solutions team, working holistically across the entire placement process. The individual will be instrumental in managing client solutions across our global ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in Lloyd’s and London Market practices, delegated authority management, and the use of key London Market systems. You will enhance operational processes, manage client placements, and ensure the effective management of delegated authority business, while supporting the wider Client Solutions Team.


Responsibilities:


  • Client Placement Management: Project planning and managing client placements, ensuring high-quality service delivery..
  • Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for clients and markets, including KYC and TOBA issuance.
  • London Market Systems Utilization: Effectively use and manage London Market systems to facilitate client transactions and documentation.
  • Market Knowledge Application: Utilise expertise in the Lloyd’s and London Market to provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare Slips, Lineslips, Binding Authorities, Evidence of Cover, and other essential documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Claims and Premiums Processing: Reconcile and process claims and premiums, manage debit/credit notes, and liaise with finance for cash flow management.
  • Operational Process Enhancement: Assist in establishing effective operational processes to optimise client service delivery.
  • Team Collaboration and Development: Form and actively manage deal teams to offer broker support, contribute to client presentations, and analyse data. Collaborate and cross-train daily with the broader global team.


Experience:


  • Experience: Extensive experience working within the Lloyd’s and London Market eco-system, particularly in Lloyd’s delegated authority and MGA (5 years minimum requirement).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in London Market systems and processes (LORS, ECF, PPL, Whitespace, ATLAS, BAR, Crystal).
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the global reinsurance and delegated/programs market, including regulatory requirements.
  • Client Engagement: Strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships, address client needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing client placements using project planners and coordinating multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Operational Process Improvement: Experience in establishing and refining operational processes to ensure top-tier client service.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Proficiency in preparing accurate insurance documentation and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
