The candidate will support the company through its liquidation process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and facilitating smooth proceedings. This role involves working closely with the General Counsel, external legal advisors, and other departments to manage and execute various legal tasks associated with winding down operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and documentation, keeping the Legal Sharepoint up-to-date.
  • Maintain tracker (‘to do’ list) documents for each entity in liquidation.
  • Attend calls with liquidators and external advisers.
  • Liaise regularly with liquidators to seek approval for BAU processes, expenses, invoices etc. as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of responses to queries from regulators (liaising with the wider business and/or external counsel as needed).
  • Act as a point of contact between the liquidators and the wider business.
  • Respond to any legal queries from the wider business.
  • Liase with external counsel as required.
  • Manage legal spend and review invoices.
  • Prepare intragroup agreements (e.g. loan agreements, contribution agreements etc.).
  • Co-ordinate execution of documents (including via DocuSign).
  • Take the lead on any HR matters or issues that arise (seeking external advice where needed).
  • Deal with KYC / onboarding requests.


Qualifications/Experience:

  • 2-3 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law, bankruptcy, or insolvency practices (either PQE or as a Legal Executive).
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Competence using DocuSign.
  • Familiarity/interest in crypto sector preferred.
