The Company Overview:


A global market leader in the chemical manufacturing space is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join the commercial team and cover the South East of England. The ideal expert will have exceptional technical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion to deliver excellence in customer support.


Responsibilities:


  • Work alongside the sales team to deliver customer support
  • Use their scientific background to engage with customers
  • Provide scientific and technical support to customers
  • Work with clients and the sales team
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Influence customers to buy the clients' products
  • Ability to collect market information
  • Provide assistance in the field, via email and over the phone
  • Provide after-sale service


Requirements:


  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a Life Sciences discipline or related field
  • 1+ year experience working as an Application Specialist or a similar/ equivalent position
  • Experience working in Drug Discovery and Reagents
  • Research/ Laboratory environment experience
  • Experience providing technical support to customers
  • Self motivated
  • Languages: English
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
