My client is a leader in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to the development of sustainable offshore wind projects. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Integration Manager to oversee the coordination and integration of interfaces into the global development planning for multiple Wind Farm Projects.


Job Description:


The Project Integration Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between various workstreams, facilitating communication, and managing project interfaces. Reporting directly to the project directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Interface Management: Act as a key contact between all major workstreams, ensuring effective management of project interfaces, including but not limited to:
  • Engineering and Technical (turbines, foundations, geoscience, onshore)
  • Grid and Electrical (offshore and onshore substations, export and inter-array cables)
  • Environmental and Consent (onshore consents, offshore consents)
  • Contract and Procurement
  • Finance
  • Supply Chain


  • Communication Facilitation: Facilitate communication between internal teams, external consultants, and contractors.


  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve conflicts promptly.


  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential interface risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.


  • Technical Alignment: Collaborate with project teams to review interface requirements and ensure technical specifications align with project goals and industry standards.


  • Contract and Agreement Review: Work closely with Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance Teams to review contracts and agreements related to interfaces, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.


  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the interface management function.


  • Real-Time Planning Updates: Update planning resources in real-time, identifying and reporting inconsistencies and risks.


  • Team Management: Manage the Document Control and Project Planning Functions (two people).


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.


  • Experience: 7 to 10 years (minimum) proven experience within the offshore wind industry, including at least five years in an interface management role.


  • Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.


  • Attention to Detail: Ability to adhere to a high-level vision of the project needs and constraints while also paying attention to detail.


  • Adaptability: Ability to react quickly and adapt to a changing environment.


  • Team Support: Willingness to support and assist team members, understanding the stakes of their activities.


  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
