The Opportunity
Working within a financial services company as a senior service desk engineer, carrying out the day-to-day IT support and focusing on larger projects as the business moves the IT team in-house.

The Role & Responsibilities:
Transferring the service desk from an external provider to an internal team. The candidate would be a people person able to provide support to all levels of the business as well as carry out larger projects.
- 3rd/4th line IT support
- Working within the ITIL framework
- Project work
- On-boarding devices and employees
- Training & Mentoring Juniors
- Providing 5-star customer service
The person:
- Senior IT support engineer experience
- Indepth understanding and subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365, Windows Server Technologies, Exchange Online, Active Directory (AD) & Azure AD
- Networking & server management
- BAU support and being the point of escalation
- Worked in ITIL frameworks
- Project management or migration experience
Desirable (but not required):
- Worked within an MSP or IT consultancy
- Worked in the Financial sector
- ITIL certification
- Microsoft Certified
