Our client is a leading global asset management firm that offers innovative solutions and access to unique opportunities across public and private capital markets. They are looking to add a Product Development Snr/Director to their Specialists Product Management team.


This role focuses on developing and managing products for wealth channels, including transitional successful institutional private strategies into wealth, on a global scale.


Duties include:


  • Develop, implement, and manage investment products for Private/Alternative asset classes in the Wealth market throughout their lifecycle (LTAF, ELTIF, BDC and/or Part II UCI)
  • Analyse market trends and regulatory changes to create innovative products, presenting insights to senior leaders and aligning strategy across teams.
  • Lead fund launches, collaborate with internal teams on fund structuring, and ensure smooth execution through governance processes.
  • Represent the investment team on product-related matters, focusing on fund economics, mechanics, and regulatory compliance, while driving product innovation and expanding distribution channels.


Necessary qualifications, experience and competencies:


  • 10+ years in relevant fields, with a proven track record in launching and distributing private/alternative asset products.
  • Expertise in products like Part II UCIs, BDCs, tender offer funds, REITs, and Australian unit trusts.
  • Hands-on experience in the last 3-4 years with practical, results-driven involvement.
  • Strong ability to drive change, proactively address challenges, and resolve issues early.
  • Established relationships with Client Portfolio Managers (CPM) and distribution teams.
  • Global experience across Europe, Australia, and the US, with familiarity in regulatory landscapes such as UK LTAFs, US BDCs, and Luxembourg structures.
