Job Opportunity: Maintenance Specialist

12-month Contract, Sunbury/London

Inside IR35 (PAYE)



Role Overview:

As an Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring maintenance readiness and supporting the safe execution of maintenance work. You’ll develop maintenance scopes, troubleshoot issues, and engage in root cause analysis. Your work will extend across both onshore and offshore environments, providing continuous support for the preventative maintenance program.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive activity readiness by preparing work packs for efficient execution on the offshore facility.
  • Develop scopes for turnarounds (TARs), major repairs, and complex corrective tasks.
  • Support maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
  • Use predictive technologies to recommend optimal equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Lead continuous improvement of the Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring updates in the CMMS.
  • Participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) and support maintenance investigations.
  • Serve as the key link between the onshore Integration & Maintenance squad and the offshore execution squad.



Desired Experience:

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or in site-based work.
  • Strong understanding of offshore facilities and typical operational equipment.
  • Proficiency in SAP PM and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and innovatively solve high-value problems.
  • Site experience. Experienced hands on with projects offshore etc.



Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in starting up new assets or operating in new regions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like ADO or Scrum.
  • A drive for personal and professional development.
