Our client is a fast-growing Series C fintech firm with fewer than 200 employees and offices in New York and London. They provide a comprehensive platform for quantitative developers to build trading, risk management applications, and models. Designed by experts with deep financial markets experience, their platform supports a wide range of trading needs, from energy and commodities to portfolio and multi-asset management.
They are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join their team who is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining their front and back office trading applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, improve, and support trading applications and platform components.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external clients to identify and address their needs, customizing the platform accordingly.
- Engage with clients to collect and evaluate requirements and suggest product improvements.
- Contribute to code reviews and offer technical insights and feedback to the team.
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of experience in Python development (Python their primary language).
- Experience in trading and risk management systems is a plus but not required.
- Finance experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience designing and building customer facing applications/components
