The purpose of this newly created, multi-faceted dynamic role is to support the Director of Strategic Sourcing, category and broader teams across the total portfolio of activity within the business Food & Packaging teams.


This role will require someone who is a self-starter, you will be given guidance to “what” they would like, and then they go figure it out. Which is a nice position to be in, as you can shape something new.


This is an exciting role with a very attractive salary, 15% bonus and additional car allowance. This is a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days in the EMEA HQ located within easy reach of a wide range of locations west of London.


You will develop the productivity (cost out & value delivery) program idea generation, governance, structure and reporting across all category projects, working with Strategic Sourcing & Centre of Excellence teams. Supporting the Cost Forecast programs across all categories and operating countries, working with the broader finance teams to detail forecast predictions and reports.


You will also be responsible for cross functional weekly & bi-weekly updates and exec board ready presentations & reporting upon progress of projects, key decision stage gates along with the broader step change projects.

• Experienced Project Manager (ideally broad experience across Food & Packaging, but if not, the key experience is project management and procurement exposure)

• Motivated, self-starter, someone that will go find, explore, and find the solutions to problems.

• Experience of international and cross-cultural working

• Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills

• Ability to travel (domestic and international)

• Depth of experience in the Procurement, Commercialisation & Project Management

• Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills


Desirable skills and experience:


• Knowledge or understanding of how a franchise system operates.

• Supplier Relationship Management both internal & externally

• Foundation knowledge of commodity markets

• Experience of working in an environment where strategic category management is embedded.

• Experience of working in a matrix environment

• Experience of working with Source to Contract tools
