The Role
As the UK Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the organisation’s UK operations, driving strategic growth, and ensuring operational excellence. This high-impact role requires a seasoned leader with expertise in the renewable energy or technology sectors, capable of delivering results in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
You will lead all aspects of the business, including sales, market development, operational strategy, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement. Your efforts will play a crucial role in solidifying the company’s position as a trusted leader in the UK energy storage market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to drive growth and market share in the UK.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
Operational and Financial Oversight
- Manage the financial performance of the UK division, optimising revenue streams and controlling costs.
- Oversee supply chain and logistics to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present performance reports to the board, identifying areas for improvement and strategic opportunities.
Innovation and Product Alignment
- Collaborate with global product development teams to tailor offerings to the UK market.
- Drive research and development initiatives to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Regulatory and Risk Management
- Ensure all activities comply with UK regulations, including health and safety, environmental standards, and manufacturing requirements.
