As one of the UK’s fastest-growing printers, Solopress is always looking for great people to join our friendly and hardworking team. We are now looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Controller to join our finance department.
Working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, this is a great opportunity for someone with previous accounting experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day to day running of the sales ledger function.
- Supervising two members of the accounts receivable team.
- Dealing with accounts related customer queries by phone and email.
- Overseeing the process of customer payments - card, cash, bacs, including daily and monthly reconciliations.
- Managing the credit control function including debt collection and onboarding new customers.
- Posting of sales invoices and payments to Sage.
- Providing cover on purchase ledger.
- Ad-hoc management reporting.
- Assisting with month end reporting.
Role Requirements
- Must have previous accounting experience.
- Strong excel skills (vlookups, pivots, etc)
- Strong communication skills
