Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst for a 9-month contract with just 1 day/week in any UK office (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Norwich, Birmingham, London).
Purpose of the Role:
This is a greenfield project to work on a large mortgage book acquisition journey. You'll identify opportunities to digitise and manage the customer journey, alongside all downstream impacts, to deliver an effortless customer experience for the mortgage acquisition customers. It's an opportunity to be at the heart of creating customers' experiences alongside shaping how these customers bank with the client in the future.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a Business Analyst you'll be part of a team delivering all tasks required to acquire the new mortgage book including the building of digital experiences, operational processes and engagement with all areas affected by the change. You'll be working in sprints as part of a self-organising team, making sure that the client places the customer at the heart of everything that they do whilst retaining a commercial drive. To do that you'll build an understanding of customers, anticipate their needs and gather early feedback on what will deliver value.
Day-to-day you'll be:
- Delivering digital journeys for both Broker and Customer, consolidating and automating all business performance activities that keep the customer journey running effortlessly.
- Working with downstream systems and teams, ensuring accurate identification and reporting.
- Creating operational processes to onboard the acquired mortgage book onto the client's systems.
- Making empowered decisions to deliver the prioritised journey backlog.
What we require from the candidate:
We're looking for someone who can put the customer at the heart of what they do and deliver great customer value. You'll have expertise in process design, change delivery and customer experience design, as well as good knowledge of critical Agile capabilities and Agile ways of working.
We'll also expect:
- Experience of driving and delivering innovative ideas by looking at harnessing digital and technological advances that truly benefit the client's customers.
- A proven ability to adapt to fast changing environments.
- A talented communicator who can inspire and engage both customers and colleagues.
- Experience of Mortgages and/or migrations is preferable.
