Job Overview:


As a senior consultant, you’ll be responsible for owning and leading implementations or workstreams, to ensure successful delivery to our clients. You’ll take ownership of projects and act as a primary contact to senior stakeholders within our client’s teams.

You’ll support the scoping and establishment of new engagements, alongside leading teams of consultants actively delivering on a wide range of projects. You’ll be developing the team around you, as well as continually developing yourself, through experience on internal and client projects.


What will you be doing:


  • Deliver reporting solutions in strategic accounts through design excellence
  • Own the entire client relationship, serving as the go-to person for any technology transformation needs
  • Track and manage the budgetary performance of projects
  • Drive successful sales processes
  • Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and client requirements into solution design and coherent implementation documentation
  • Serve as the architectural SME for large-scale solutions, providing technical leadership and accountability to the project team
  • Oversee the consulting team - supporting development etc
  • Participate in data integration and migration solutions
  • Manage resourcing across a portfolio of projects
  • Act as a project sponsor on smaller consulting engagements
  • Drive innovation in the technology(ies) that VantagePoint works with, developing new solutions and IP
  • Manage the pipeline of the practice ensuring continued growth
  • Confidently lead workshops and training sessions
  • Drive best practice behaviour and advance the practice internally


To be successful in this role you have:


  • 5+ years of FP&A, financial controllership or similar experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong understanding of SQL and data transformation
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Analytics
  • Professional, diligent approach to all client-facing engagements
  • Experience in financial reporting
