Finatal is currently partnered with a Tier 1 PE backed manufacturing/Engineering business in Bristol. The business has gone through several transformations and are looking for a seasoned controller to drive financial performance and support with their ambitious growth plans.


The client is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead their finance team, supporting the CFO. This role is crucial in providing strategic financial insights, ensuring robust financial control, and contributing to the overall success of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.


Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

· Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the company's financial integrity.

· Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management.

· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

· Collaborate with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and process improvements.


Requirements:

· Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

· Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment.

· Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

· Experience in a PE-backed business is highly desirable.
